Regular Taekwondo Program

  • Little Jin

    [ Ages 3.5 - 7 ]

    This program introduces our youngest students to TaeKwonDo. It is designed to teach children how to build strong, healthy body and provides the foundational elements for improved motor skills, better ability to pay attention and follow directions, practice courtesy and self-discipline, and gain self-confidence

  • Youth-Cadet

    [ Ages 8 - 12 ]

    This program reinforces the basic components of TaeKwonDo. It is designed to instill the five ancient tenets as a way of life: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirt. It also provides the foundation for physical and psychological training — increasing strength, flexibility, confidence, focus as well as self-discipline.

  • Teens-Adults

    [ Ages 13+ ]

    This program concentrates on specific needs of adults and teenagers, physically and mentally. It is designed to help relieve stress, increase stamina, lose weight and stay fit, gain more self-confidence, and improve coordination. Important self-defense techniques are taught in a realistic way. It challenges the entire body, developing balance, agility and posture.

  • Family Taekwondo

    This program is designed to accommodate families, kids and parents, providing quality physical training, promoting healthy mind and body through Basic Taekwondo while having a great and fun bonding. In this program, parents and children will learn Taekwondo philosophy, customs and traditions, as well as basic skills in punching and kicking. Whether you are into this sports or just looking for some activity together, this program is the right for you!

  • Olympic Sparring

    Ong Taekwondo Academy offers Olympic Sparring opportunities for students starting from the Green belt level and above. This advanced training allows practitioners to refine their skills in a competitive setting, focusing on techniques, strategy, and sportsmanship essential for Olympic-style matches. Participants engage in structured sparring sessions that emphasize agility, precision, and tactical movement, providing a robust framework for athletic development. Training under the guidance of experienced instructors, students not only enhance their sparring capabilities but also gain valuable insights into the competitive landscape of Taekwondo.

Special Programs

  • This class is an excellent opportunity for beginners to explore the martial art in a welcoming environment. During this one-time session, participants will receive guidance from a qualified master or instructor who will evaluate their skills and potential. This hands-on experience allows newcomers to learn basic techniques, understand the principles of Taekwondo, and decide whether they wish to continue training. With a focus on safety and personal growth, the trial class is designed to introduce students to the core values of discipline and respect that Taekwondo embodies.

  • Private one-on-one Taekwondo training provides a customized experience based on the student’s skills, goals, and pace. Students receive focused attention from an instructor, enabling targeted instruction on techniques and forms. This personalized method accelerates skill development and boosts confidence. Individual lessons refine techniques, enhance conditioning, and tackle specific challenges, making private training an effective way to practice Taekwondo intensively.

  • The Elite Demo Team at Ong Taekwondo Academy provides an exciting opportunity for students who are green belts and higher, and aged 5 and up, to join the Travel Team. Members experience exposure to a variety of invitational events where they can showcase their taekwondo skills and routines. This program enhances their confidence, teamwork, and performance abilities while allowing them to represent the academy at various competitions and demonstrations. Being part of the Elite Demo Team fosters a sense of pride and accomplishment, encouraging students to excel in their martial arts journey.
